The show was great. Dinner was ok nothing to brag about. Too price for a place that doesn't take pride in the food.
A very Iconic Venue! Intimate setting and really not a bad seat in the house! My seats were right next to the stage! My first time but it won't be my last visit!
Music was awsome... Food was great and very overpriced... As for the service was awful and very slow... My Girlfriend and I were a few of the first there and to get the waiters attention my girlfriend had to ask and I was ignored the whole visit... for example we requested to have our glasses of water refilled the waiter brought her a glass and never refilled mine till she asked them again...
The waiter took our order, received our food in good time, as I mention dinner was ok, it took a long before our waiter or any waiters would walk by but never asked if we need it anything else, I asked for glass of water for the two of us, received only ONE full glass of water, again waited for awhile before another the waiter will walk by, we asked different waiter, again for another glass water, waited for long time, still waiting, another 10 min go by still, NO WATER, finally for the 3rd time I spoke to different waiter in Spanish asking for another glass of water, still seem like it was for ever to get my boyfriends glass of water. We were afraid to order dessert god knows how long that would've taken to be serve. But they rush the check to the table and he spoke English, will NOT recommend this place to any one.
Quaint little supper club, Very intimate First time there! Oleta Adams rocked the house! Sat right next to the stage! My first time but it won't be my last! Very Iconic Venue!!
The service was TERRIBLE never again will go there with my boyfriend we're celebrating his B-Day. What a waste of our time in this place.
.I saw Monty Alexander here on June 9, 2017. I enjoyed his performance. He started with a trio and brought in some Jamaican (his birthplace) musicians to finish the set. I was pretty disappointed with the service, however. There is a 2 drink minimum or dinner requirement. Having eaten within the last 2 hours, I wasn't hungry so decided I would get 2 glasses of wine. When the server took my drink order, he asked if I was going to order anything to eat and I said I would get another glass of wine later. About 70 minutes after the show began, the server didn't bring me the second glass of wine or ask if I wanted something else. He just brought the check which also had a minimum fee tacked on. Apparently the minimum requirement is $18 and I had only had $11 worth of wine. I thought the server brought the check then because the show must be ending soon, but Monty played for almost 2 hours. I enjoy the acts I see here but the minimum requirement is a bit Draconian. I once had 2 ice teas that cost $18. The point is you might as well order food and get something decent for the money. The server actually cheated himself out of a bigger tip because I tipped only on the one glass of wine instead of the whole bill. The Baked Potato also has a 2 drink minimum but you can order tea for $5. There the drinks are properly priced but dinner does not count towards the minimum.
Go for the music not the service... it sucks..
