OKAY i am going to be completely HONEST with this school. First, when i first came here i read reviews and it sounded really good. It didnt have the best rating, but most the time it had 3-4 stars out of 5 so i decided to go here. The first thing i noticed is the staff is ALWAYS GRUMPY. There is no time the staff look any happy to go to work, and this already brings my positivity down. I never really need the office, as they overcomplicate directions anyway, but when i ask nicely they give me attitude and shows that they arent willing to help me. Next thing i wanna talk about is how dirty this school is. No one is hired to pick up trash and there is trash everywhere, and the p.e rooms are a mess. The lockers are rusting off, and the paint is crusting off the p.e lockerroom. This school is over 85 years old, so what could i expect anyway. Recently, for the past month the fire alarm constantly goes off when no one has pulled it. It was okay the first day, and i expected it to be fixed the next day, let alone a WEEK or so. A month has passed and no one has fixed this problem and it really bothers students concentration during classtime. The way the office communicates with classrooms, is through a loudspeaker in each classroom and i can tell you...There has not been one time i actually heard the news they were giving. They need to fix their loudspeaker because no one can hear a thing. The teachers even ask the students what they said because its not clear enough. I am not just giving complaints however. I do think this school does one thing right, and its the different education days. They mix up when you learn your classes, and thats good because you wont be stressed out about one class every single day. However, this school is OVERLY COMPLICATED and you should not go to it. They assign you a personal project that if you do not do, you will FAIL AN ENTIRE GRADE and this personal project is completely uneccessary and stresses your child out even more. Lunch is way overly price for the lack of food, and the service the lunchlady's give, as it is 3.15$ for lunch. This school really has to fix some things. I apologize for my unpleasant honesty, but this is my honest opinion about this school.

I mean sure some of the teachers here are great and all but some just dont care, give you a paper and expect you to learn it in a day. :/

As a student I find that all of the teachers genuinely care about each students' well being.

The ib programme is one that transcends boarders and brings students closer to thier goals.

Some of the people you meet might not be the sharpest tool in the box but overall it's a pretty good school. If you ever get Mr. Aguilar, switch out immediately.

Teachers aim to teach at a college level and desire to push the kids. Most of which I am still personal freinds with. You can tell that they are so human and real with what they aim to do.
