Shockingly, the Rabbi tried to turn the table on my girlfriend and I by stating that he doesn't see anything wrong with my son's classroom setting, that I was rude to his receptionist and that he doesn't see the issue with contacting my girlfriends personal bank account. To make matters worse, he out right denied me any and all documents pertaining to my son, even though I clearly stated to him that I have court ordered joint custody and that he is obligated by law to provide me with those records. He responded by "have your lawyer contact us" even though I informed him that I did not have legal counsel. He also suggested that, from what you know, "your wife has been the one paying the tuition," further implying that I do not pay my dues. He then told us to hold on a moment after my girlfriend began to speak, as he got on the phone and contacted security only to be followed with "I would be delighted to de-enroll your son" on our way out

My son's school (Temple Judea in Tarzana, CA) then photographed my son in a dress and further posted it on Facebook. I then later shared the photo out of frustration. This was done shortly after I requested to change my son's "Circle Time" photo for obvious reasons of my son looking like a zombie.
This past Friday (9/30/16), the day before my sons 3rd birthday and the Friday before Rosh Hashanah my sons school (A top private Jewish school) sent me a letter threatening to expel me from the campus by obtaining a restraining order.
On August 17, 2016 my girlfriend Shakeera Kelly and I met with the head Rabbi (Rabbi Josh Aaronson) to discuss improper treatment regarding myself and our civil rights, as well as improper racial comments towards my girlfriend. He stated that he was aware of the incident on August 1st regarding my son's teacher and her inappropriate comments made in the middle of the classroom, in front of other teachers, parents and children. He also stated that he was aware of his staff finding my girlfriend's purse on August 2nd, that his staff contacted her personal checking account, and that it took 4 hours to finally notify us. It should be noted that her drivers license was also in her purse, but not utilized. Furthermore, I requested from him directly documents obtaining to my son.
Almost every great thing that has happened in my life, has happened at temple Judea. I was named here, went to religious school here, 100s of bar mitzvahs, I was married here, the clergy have consoled me when family or friends have passed. I actually don't know what I would do without the TJ and it's amazing community. Thank you.
Please read and share with discretion as embarrassment and humiliation are only the beginning of how I feel. Most of you know that I have been going through a high conflict divorce. This has obviously caused problems in my family and as soon as my mother found out I was dating a Black woman she immediately alerted my ex-wife. They then worked together to gain the support of my sons school. My mother works for another large Jewish school (Stephen Wise Temple in Bel Air) and she had once told me that they photograph boys in dresses to share online as a way to get back at parents that they decide are causing trrouble.
Additionally, on August 27, 2016 I sent the Rabbi an email along with 15 or more other recipients highlighting our issues at Temple Judea and what it is we need moving forward. They have decided as an institution to not only completely ignore all of my concerns but rather to direct Ellen Franklin & Margie Ipp on September 1st, the director of early childhood, to request additional funds for tuition. Shay's tuition shows that he is paid 6 months in advance when compared to their normal business practices pertaining to enrollment deposits and payment plans.
On another (shortly after) occasion I dropped off my son with my girlfriend who is black, as she had come with me for support. My son's teacher referred to her as "THE BABYSITTER" followed with a question asked in disappointment "So, you decided to date outside our race?"
To make matters worse, my ex-wife is using the schools comments against me and I am fearing that she will attempt to take my custody rights away as she has already tried 4 times within 1.5 years.
