TAMALES and mexican sweet bread is amazingly great and made there , (home made) ...
Amazing baked goods and their tamales are amazing.
I went in this morning because I had sometime before work and because they do have very good pan Dulce. I grabbed a metal tray and Tongs and selected 2 empanadas which fell to the floor and when I looked up one of the sisters that owns this place gave me the dirtiest looks. Then she proceeded to greet me in Spanish which I don't really mind except for the snooty tone and so I answered her in English. I dread going to any business where the servers are snooty. And I reminded myself this is why I avoid coming here, because the sisters that own this place are so snooty. Until they learn some good customer service manners and humility I'll avoid going there ever again. I'm sorry I cost you $1.80 loss
I went specifically to get pan de muerto and calavera cookies at 6:30am and I was told they were out of cookies. I was very disappointed because I had seen great reviews. The ladies there were not welcoming either. I bought 2 small pan de muerto and I was shocked that it was $8 total. Next time I will go to Super A Foods and get a nice medium sized for $2.99. El Super has delicious fresh soft pan de muerto too... for about $2. A friend brought me a box beautifully decorated for the day of the dead and it was worth the $3. It is sad how this tradition is being commercialized.Because I don't live near el Super or Super As Foods I found this to be convenient and because of the reviews I was expecting better. FYI that specific bread was not good. This was my first and last time there.
Tamales is excellent along with their bread
