Decent Turkish spread. Nothing like the real thing but good ambience. Was just too hot and busy when we arrived. Turkish tea is plenty good
I went to Mama's Secret Cafe in February 2017 and had an amazing Turkish breakfast. The menemen was delicious, the Turkish breakfast came with plenty of different things, and the service was great. I returned in August 2017 with friends, telling them that they were in for a treat. The breakfast that arrived was nowhere near what was served the last time I was here. The menemen had no flavor, the breakfast was sparse at best and the service was very poor. We had to ask for utensils, water and bread after our food had arrived and had to wait five minutes before starting our food after it had arrived at our table. Overall, this visit was a great disappointment. It would not have been so disappointing if I didn't know how good the food can be at Mamas Secret.
Some of the best breakfast foods and coffee in LA! Both waitresses we had were the absolute sweetest, welcoming and made fantastic food suggestions. Everything was super flavorful and truly unique!! I will definitely be coming back here every time I visit LA! Thank you Mama’s!!

Favorite lil' spot to grab a coffee and delicious breakfast! Wonderful service and perfect food and coffee. I recommend the Menemen dish with baguette and an order of Turkish flatbread with potatoes. If you want to indulge a little more, add mozzarella with the potatoes. It's insanely good. I love this place and will be bqck to visit next time I'm in California!
