I've only been here on Friday and Saturday nights. Decor is beautiful, Music is pretty good: mostly mainstream hip hop. Bar service: they are usually very attentive and quick. MUST WARN: gets VERY crowded, at times, basically turns into a club. First time: arrived around 10:30 waited in the GA line for about 15-20 min, not bad. Other times were for birthdays with table service. No line for tables. BEST table I would say is, surprisingly, in the way back corner because you and your guests will actually have space to move and breathe. There is a smoking patio, they have a NO Vape Policy, they will hold it in the front if you bring it. Bathroom lines are extremely LONG, esp the men's. But overall, pretty chill place depending on what days and times you go.
Small, with no seating aside from bottle service. But fantastic happy hours until 10pm including $5 draft beers with a good amount on tap. They DJ was also great & they do salsa lessons on some weekdays!
I am a bartender at Blue J Lounge! Tuesday salsa lessons, friday & saturday DJ Frankie playing old school hip hip, new hits and sundays we do 70s (pictured below)!! we have fun as bartenders and love our guests!
Awesome salsa dancing, but parking is always $20. They seem to be reducing the draft beers and ciders though.
The night began a little dry. We got.frisked coming in and had to throw away my water. I was padded but the same could be said for my date. Younger crowd, mostly early 20s on a Thursday. Decent drinks and DJ of the night was missing oldies. So the oldies needed to spice it up a bit.
