Ram was awesome! After having had horrible experiences at Fox and Sixt, I remembered my first car rental experience with Avis and decided to rent through them again. Ram was courteous and understanding of our situation (we needed a minivan for a roadtrip to Florida asap). He had a minivan ready to go. The process was easy as usual with Avis. Upon returning a week later, Ram was also awesome at closing our rental agreement. My family and I have decided to only rent exclusively with Avis from now on! Thanks Ram and the whole Hollywood team for another awesome experience!

They are a scam! My senior citizen and veteran grandmother rented a car here, turned in her keys after she had an incident and spoke with corporate. The gentleman working their gave her a fake receipt and charged her for "missing keys" and took it out of her account. They are taking advantage of our elderly and the people who fought for our country. I am appalled. My grandmother can't even walk down the street to rent a car without being scammed. Then to top it off, when my grandmother and mother called to the place informing their "managerment" of their error they refuse to help and hung up in their face. I am deeply disturbed about this because this is in the community. Their name isn't even Budget Rent A Car...is Avis. They can't even be honest on yelp.

I recommend that you do not come to this place use another company all together. My mother is a senior citizen and a veteran who went only one state over to visit my sister. My mother parked in what she thought was my sisters second parking space for visitors when it turned out to be a space for someone who didn't have a car. So the car was towed away. Understandably that was a mistake Budget Rent A Car can not fix... it's not their fault. But My mother was told that it would cost her $800 for the tow-away... now Budget Rent A Car has added more money and it end up costing her $1200. To add to it all she received a new charge that she did not return the key. They just charged her another $400 so all together from California to Nevada it cost my mother all of this money for a tow-away car. They added charges for a key which she turned back in. The guy did not give her a real receipt, he gave her a handwritten paper that she turned the key in. Corporate told her to turn in the key and she did it, but now they are charging her for it. It is no way that was $1600 she is living in a nightmare and extremely upset over the entire situation. My mother also told me the guy that's in the store India (I hate to label by nationality, but I have not choice) that he was disrespectful and nasty to her. I am so upset, that's my mother and she doesn't deserve this kind of treatment. She didn't respond nastily to him because she's a lady, but my point is this shouldn't be happening. Don't rent from them... they will keep charging your card even after they closed the account. These people are scam artist. The Indian guy at Budget is rude and nasty and talked to my mother like it's not point in taking the key, then he didn't even put it in the system that he received the key and so now she has to keep calling corporate. I'm ready to sue this company for falsely charging a senior citizen and veteran of the United States of America who happens to be my mother! I probably wouldn't be as pissed as I am if my mother was able to sleep... she can't afford this, she didn't sleep all night because of these added charges which she got after the company closed the account saying she paid for everything they found new charges?!!!! The "Manager" is the person that disrespected my mother. I just got word from my mother that they just charged her again. On top of that she told me that when she returned the keys to the man "Manager", he threw the keys back at her saying "What can I do with these keys? I dont have the car?" My mother told him that corporate said that after it was taken out of the tow company to turn the car to the Nevada station. So my mother did not abandon the car, and the corporate told her to still return the keys to the Los Angeles Station. Unprofessional and unorganized... and the man is lazy and mean.... he refused to put that she did return the keys into their system and now they are trying to make her pay for it.
