Nice place. Well lit. Bad area tho.
As a regular, I've seen many confused passengers trying to locate the eastbound (Sierra Madre) boarding area. It's a bit of a stair climb and lengthy ramp up to the platform. Anyone with a wheelchair or stroller should know where to enter if going east. The other boarding platform is located under the bridge on the otherside. It'd be nice to see the emergency exits opened, unlocked and accommodated FOR & TO ALL passenger's! ☺️
It's a good area. Safe and usually on time
I work in Pasadena so I take the Gold Line 5 days out of the week and I've never had a bad experience.
Clean station. But trains are usually not on time. Sometimes I have to wait more than 30minutes to go to union station!
It's a clean, and safe station. Also, it's well lit after the sun goes down. Parking could be a problem during the week (M-F), especially if you're there after 8-8:30 am. There's parking along Ave 26 or Lacy St., but be sure to read the signs!
