Not a very crowded station. Great scenery with Mariachi Plaza. Nice place to visit on the weekends for the farmers market.

As one of the Gold Line's underground (subway) stations, it's nice that Metro left the ground level of Mariachi Plaza mostly intact. This is a good station to use to visit its namesake Mariachi Plaza, the Eastside Luv Wine Bar, or the old-school Jim's Burger (a block east of the station).
Clean, not dirty, and not crowded in this train station.
