Awesome museum! This is a must-go tourist spot to learn and see Hollywood history! Old and new photographs of famous actors and actresses cover the walls and real authentic costumes and make-up await.
Fine place to take your out of town guests. It is sometimes too crowded with tourists though. I would suggest visiting right after Labor Day to have less people to deal with and be able to enjoy the stores and restaurants.
Nice busy tourist attraction for out of towners. Many street performers, artists, and trinkets being sold on the street. Mix this in with high end boutiques and many strange and/or unique shops, theaters, lounges, etc... Then throw in the Hollywood stars and you've got a bustling tourist attraction.
Parking lot is in a perfect location if you want to see the sights on hollywood blvd. The price was pretty cheap at about 2 bucks an hour if you validate your ticket. We validated at the tourist office.
It's our first time here. We love the ambience, although it's just too sunny and hot during the day since the mall are mainly outdoors. It's more cooler to see when the sky turns dark. You'll love sitting at the plaza while drinking some coffee or enjoy some meals.
