Not only do I have no results from my treatment, now I'm really upset and feel scammed.
I am utterly flabbergasted by the conversation I had with Kalologie when I called to tell them the IPL treatment I had with them produced zero results. Literally, it is like the treatment never happened -- not a single brown spot darkened, not a bit of skin peeled. It was made very clear to me that Kalologie could care less about me, given the response to my concern.
I received some confusing explanation about legal restrictions that apparently prevent them from using the laser to an effective level on new customers. **This was never explained**. And not only was this not explained, the person who did my treatment told me that I would see results within a few days up to 1 week. Why would you tell a customer they would see results, if you know you didn't use the laser at effective settings, and basically knew it wouldn't work? Why would anyone purchase a treatment that was purposely not going to work? This feels like a SCAM. It is certainly DISHONEST. And it is certainly BAD BUSINESS.

Me: "I feel like the treatment I purchased was a complete waste of money."
If a business offers a Groupon or other 'deal' promotion, the purpose is supposed to be to reach a new audience and earn new customers. If that is not the goal, I cannot imagine what the goal is. No one forces businesses to offer these types of promotions. In Kalologie's case, it feels like their goal is to offend people and make them seriously regret spending the money on the promotion. It actually feels like the person I spoke to was somehow blaming me.
