Great price and atmosphere. Lots of people napping and studying in the upstairs floor. The special saunas were incredible. My favorite was the clay room. It's like an adult ball pit and way more comfortable than I expected. The Korean restaurant inside was very good but charges racked up quickly.
Definitely a Los Angeles destination for relaxing and decompressing from a long flight. Multiple floors include a full Korean spa experience with wet gender specific areas and coed dry sauna areas. Restaurant has delicious food! Rooftop pool available for the summer. Open 24 hours. Now becoming a hangout for Tech startup types working in Silicon Beach. Centrally located and affordable.
Amenities are excellent. Food is delicious. Rooftop deck is serene. Staff is friendly & Exceptional! They should be Proud.. ........Yet after much time and money spent here... I had a fraud issue with my bank account… And my accounts are frozen… This meant that I couldn’t pay a $17 bill… I did come back in less than 24 hours and pay my bill for $17… Yet they informed me that I would never be welcome again. So again, the amenities are excellent, yet I am unsure about some of the staff members and the policies.
Huge fan of Wi Spa. Wi spa is open 24 hours and has 4 floors. First two floors are men only or women only, the third floor is co-ed, and the fourth floor is an outdoor area. The co-ed floors have multiple saunas and place to relax/take a nap if it is quiet enough. The first two floors also have wet/dry saunas, jacuzzis, etc. Great place to relax and sweat it out for a couple of hours!
I absolutely loved my experience at Wi! I discovered it last minute, and was so glad I could fit it into my travel schedule. I loved the variety of saunas and would go back in a heartbeat, even though it was strange "relaxing" in a place with so much conversation and cell phone usage ... A cultural difference, I suppose, and I was happy to adjust my expectations in that regard :)
I normally come here spending $550 or more every time I go. But this time I just did the spa entrance and dinner. There was hair in my food and they refused to believe me. They wouldn't comp the food at the restaurant nor at the front desk. Apparently you pay for everything here including health violation mistakes. Furthermore, upon leaving, while hiking the stairs out it smelled so heavily of cigarettes I almost passed out. They serve hair in your food and have no problem with patrons breaking the law smoking right at the entrance allowing the smoke to go straight into the building and underground into the women's sauna. I will not be going here again. There are plenty of other great Korean spas in the area that are not nearly as pretentious and actually care about the service and experience of the paying customers and are a better bang for your buck. By the way, I spoke directly to the manager who did not care at all about our experience. They just lost a customer that was paying $6k a year in spa fees. I will happily take my business elsewhere.
