Great place for much to happen and people watch. Crowded during tourist season, great nightlife, heavy traffic, but overall a fun place to stay
Hollywood/Highland is on the Red Line just one station before Universal city.
After leaving LAX airport, I went here and it reminds me of your typical subway. All I wanted was to get from point C to point D safely and it did. Yes, you will see the homeless and may even run into some con artists, but you will see that often in LA. I made it just in time to my destination. It was a very short ride for me and able to sit with room for my luggage.
Excellent place to visit, where Movie Stars reside. Plenty to see around Hollywood, California. Also had an opportunity to drive by STAPLE Center, home of the LA Lakers.
