This metro line is starting to have problem , where people have to get Off the train and go catch a bus to work. This starting to be a nig mess, I hope someone fix this problem., I dont understand u pay to ride the train and u have security checking tab card, but u have all these homeless people sleeping on the train and no were to sit.
It’s kind of crowded so the best way to move around is walking because the parking is limited
Urine smell 24/7. If you're disabled and the escalator is broken (again), you're screwed! No signs to indicate: exit this side for these bus routes, exit that side for those bus routes. Non-existent signage sucks for transferring subway to rail: if you go up the last staircase, easy to board blue/expo line; if you go up middle staircase, you're on the wrong sidex: you have to take stairs / pee-smelling elevator to go OVER the tracks to get to the blue/expo boarding side.
Subway is very warm, and MTA response is 15 min wait for purple line and increasing heat in tunnel. MTA punish & abuse riders for complaining. Mayor and Ridley-thomas ignore complaints as well.
The place is nice
7th&Metro could be a great place. There are a lot of places to eat nearby, you have access to the Red, Purple, Blue, and Expo lines. There are shops to go to. It could be a great place if the city would focus on getting rid of the crime near the entrances to the subway. At times the Hope St. entrance can resemble a little skid row with people passed out on the sides on the entryway and others trying to sell or smoke methamphetamine. Metro, please do something about this.
No one accountable. My train is 2 min late, so 17 min wait in heated tunnel.
