It seemed to have come from a good place and he noticed that I was taken aback by the price of the repair and the new bike. He then proceeded to tell me the pros and cons of doing both. He didnt pressure me to buy a new bike and recommended that I take my time to think about it. I will update this review if I return, and tell you how the purchase went. If not, I am commenting only for the great and honest service.

I started commutingby bike to downtown a year aand a half ago. Early this summer I got a flat cycling up huntington, and as I was pushing my bike to the bus stop I found Gabe's. Long story ahort, I've been coming here for all my repairs and parts, Gabe is honest, and prices are more the fair. I bought my last bike here.
I bought 2 bikes from here. Gabe (the owner) is awesome. Always makes sure you leave happy. For example I sold him a fixed gear I had and then rolled that $ into getting another bike. His shop is always busy because he is fair priced with everything he does.
I have been coming here for over a year now and would deffenetly recommend gabes bike shop .
Although I didn't buy from the shop today, I may return. I came in with a bike thinking it needed a couple of things, but Gabe, the owner gave lead me through an inspection. He tabulated the cost and gave me a quote. The price of the repair was so costly that he recommended that I buy a new one instead.
