Talked to Natalia in Aussie Consulate as I moved out of state to another one, and I was worried I had missed my deadline to change my address. Come to find out, she said I dont need to do this until I renew my passport. She was very friendly(as Aussies are) and very helpful. Thankyou Joy

Showed up to renew my Australian passport. They wouldn't because my Australian born abroad paperwork was too old. Seriously? It's the bloody original. . . and yes, I'm freaking old.
My experience: dismal! Called because the main number everything online or on the phone refers you to IS OUT OF ORDER, NOT WORKING... AT ALL... FOR SEVERAL WEEKS.
