I got there @ 4am, I was the first one in line, you have to make line right infront of the building (on wilshier ) they open to the public @ 7am .they give u a form to fill it up depending on ur case with a number. Go to 2nd floor
I waited for my new passport for 2-3 hours (not bad).
My husband was there today Oct 9th, but because today is Columbus day the Salvadorian consulate is closed
The words Place ever went 5 times to register my name, every day was something different, spend $200 dollars just trying to resolve and plus parking! nothing was accomplished by the end of the 5th day, I had to give up! They treat people like animals never seen rudenest and they are not the only ones I do believe all this embajadas are the same! have a worse experience in one in DC.
They are all so serious and most of the employees take their break at the same time instead of taking turns so that's one of the reasons why you would have to wait. They had said the ID's are ready in 2 weeks, its been 3 months and they still don't have my husbands ID. One more thing they NEVER ANSWER their PHONE.

There is a f#/#&n old man selling foto copies before they open, ripping of people. I didn't need a foto copy .
This is a very I mean very horrible place!! everybody is so rude aren't even polite with the walk ins! everybody is just in a horrible mode talk back to you with an attitude! and have theirs own kids their with them... This place is very unprofessional to begin with!!
I think if you are ready with all ur paperwork its going to be easy for you
And get a sit till they call you.
