These guys don't run right up and try to give you help you don't need, which I think is great. But they are very helpful when you need it. They've stopped me from screwing up my projects a few times! I try to go here instead of the big box place as much as possible. The prices are usually almost the same now.
Everyone is very nice and it's always well stocked. Also much cheaper than any of the big hardware stores

I always go to Baller first--I prefer getting help and saving time to wandering aisles of the big stores that have inexperienced help and long lines. I also like supporting such a terrific resource two miles from my house. No question is too stupid and the folks who work there really try to understand what I need and offer great solutions when I'm uncertain about how to do something.
