Nice location, reasonable pricing. Rooms could use a update.Staff could be more helpful at this location. We needed towels and face cloths and since housekeeping was closed.for the night(8pm). We were advised we had to wait until the morning
I was quoted 169.00 for one night. If I wanted breakfast, the revised price became 191.00 for the 3 of us. When I received by bill that was slipped under the door, the new price was 231.00 and change. I was told that I had to pay for parking $12.00 and occupancy tax, another $26.46 charge. I will not be back to the Air-Tel, I feel they took advantage of me. Room was nice and food was good, but price for one night...quite excessive. I will be looking for accommodations elsewhere next time.
Staff is the best. They are extremely friendly and tried to accommodate all my needs. The renovated room was nice except for the smell of orange. (Must be a cleaner that housekeeping uses...horrible) I liked having a fridge and I like central AC versus below the window unit. I also found the food to be delicious. Room service was amazingly fast and friendly. Weird for a hotel that they don't lock the outside doors so anybody can roam the halls.
Very clean, spacious. Friendly faces on check in and at Clippers Cafe. Great view. The on-site cafe is full service offering 3-shot lattes and the usual cafe fare with breakfast options as well saving an eight-minute drive to Starbucks. It is directly beside an airport. This is noted for those who book things in a hurry and don't check out location; the planes are noisy of course. That said, Airtel Plaza Hotel gets five star for cleanliness and staff, cafe, pool, fitness room and, during sleep hours, very quiet. A huge thank you to all staff.
The staff were very helpful and informative. The room was clean and the plane noise was not as bad as I expected. This hotel is 3 stars due to age and upkeep. The rooms could use new carpet amd paint to help the older smell. Even though they are smoke free, I could still smell rooms with current smokers as I walked passed and the lobby also smells of ancient cigarettes. The switch plates in the rooms are stained fom cigarettes over the years. These are cheap to replace. The little things are what earn two more stars for a 5 star rating. The rooms definitely could use deodorizers between visitors. Overall, 3 stars for a 3 star hotel. Service was 4 stars. Parking was not that bad and they were very upfront about the process. This is a seedy area and I am thankful for the gates.
