Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The place is very clean and organized. Even the restrooms are spotless.
The only reason why I won’t give it 5 stars is because of the parking cost. It costs nearly as much as the tour!
The museum is very well presented and makes up for an overall lack of diversity and quantity (in the main museum) of presented pieces with outstanding quality. The automobiles present are beautifully maintained and displayed, with pieces that represent significant milestones in automotive engineering and design. I regret not having the time to see the collection in the basement containing over 100 automobiles not on display. Overall a pleasant way to spend a few hours.
A great place to spend a day with family and friends. They have a great selection of cars accompanied by tons of history and detailed information about every car, bike, project and accessory.
It should take you about 2 hours to complete the basic tour. If you take the vault tour then it’s going to take you 30 minutes to an hour longer.
What a great museum! I love Formula 1 and even though I'm not an Italian fan (Ferrari), I respect the greats. And that was incredible. Everything. My girlfriend isn't as into cars and she enjoyed it. We loved the movie cars! Parking tip: there's metered parking along the road behind the museum.
Always worth going. So many cars and bikes to see, across 3 floors of the museum. From the movie and conceptual older cars of yesterday, to the race cars and motorcycles, to the Maserati's and low riders of the first floor. Haven't seen the vault yet but definitely want to go by and see. Try and get on the board again in the second floor for the top gear test track for Forza 6 they have on the second floor.
Very cool museum. They have all kinds of cars and automotive things here. If you're even remotely a car lover or history buff you'll love this museum. Parking and admission are a bit pricey but what isn't in Los Angeles? We had a lot of fun and it is handicapped accessible and they have an Italian restaurant and gift shop. Great way to spend a day!
There’s a small souvenir shop just outside of the museum with tons of amazing car related things. I really liked the selection of products and clothing.
