Reviewed this sometime back, but always worth mentioning. This was the actual merry go round that Walt Disney took his young daughters too, and was there he began thoughts of park everyone could enjoy. Those thoughts of course, became Disneyland.

I have visited Griffith Park since I was a child. In fact, I lived there at Rodger Young Village. It is full of beauty, hiking trails. Griffith Observatory, the merry-go-round, areas to picnic. A place of wonder in Los Angeles, just off Los Feliz Blvd. The fountain at the entrance is amazing at night. A must-see place!
