We had the best experience purchasing our new Eagle Rock home with ACME. All of our friends had horror stories about buying real estate in Los Angeles, but from the moment we met with Courtney Poulos, I knew we were in good hands. Courtney is pro-active, organized, fun to be around (I genuinely miss talking to her a bunch of times a day), and insanely knowledgable about her field. She made the first-time home-buying process easy to understand and pleasant. Courtney also introduced us to the best inspectors and contractors, and they all shared her warm, professional demeanor. Most importantly, Courtney immediately understood we wanted a "character home" in Eagle Rock with lots of charm and within thirty days, we had our dream house. Our friends hate us, and I'm not saying our easy time will be universal, but Courtney is a miracle worker. I adore Courtney. She is a lady boss that knows how to get deals done and she does it with the utmost care and the highest level of communication. The Acme Real Estate team is AMAZING!! I'm personally not a fan of big corporate-style companies or hard-selling. Acme is run like a family business and all of her agents will pitch in to help the team out. Most real estate agents make me cringe with their oozing desperation to SELL YOU A HOUSE. Courtney knows she's not selling you anything - she's helping you to figure out what you need/want and then she's helping you to get exactly that. Courtney is a brilliant woman (She's MENSA!!) and she defies all of the ding-dong real estate agent stereotypes.
