Terrible service under new consul and staff.One star,just because somebody answered the phone.My mom passed away,needed to do power of attorney,called for appointment 3 days before that.It was really rush situation,tried to explain to Vera Ankova that this is only day I can fly from Portland,Oregon,my ticket is $600,she just asked me to do appointment for after 07.15.Tried to explain to the consul,he transfered me back to Vera Ankova.She was very nervous telling me: I already told you,it's not going to happen,it takes too much time to do it I have done it before many times withe previous 2 consuls.It take 15 min,it was pleasure to work with them and their tim.Asked her ironic if I need to do it in Chicago,she said : ok,do it and hang up on me.Very bad experience, consul who can't take decision.I know that they have rules,but at least once in a while they can help the people In extreme situations.Withough our needs they would not be here.Sorry,but I will not use this consulate in near future.Also I will post a revel at the Consulate deparent in Bulgaria.

В понеделник 08/01/17 бях в Консулството поради изтекъл документ за самоличност и бях обслужена от служителите страхотно. Не мога да повярвам как двама човека успяха да обърнат внимание на всички и да търсят решение на всичките им проблеми. Задаваха се много въпроси и се питаха какви ли не неща и се налагаше да се обясняват едни и същи неща по няколко пъти. Не знам откъде тези хора намериха това търпение. Сега разбирам, че работа им е наистина много трудна. Надявам се всичките ни посолства и консулства да имат такива служители и да работят така, както го правят в Лос Анджелис. Адмирации на консул Евгения Иванова. Хора та там работят само двама души и се налага да се обслужват хора като един голям град. Надявам се повече хора да оценят работата им.
I was very impressed with the people who work at the embassy. Everyone has done a very good job helping me through the whole process of obtaining a short term visa. They are friendly,answer their phone quickly and are very professional. And also,they answer emails very fast,it's like texting with them.). May God bless the embassy!
