I had a great experience with the consulate general of France at LA. The lady who interviewed me was super nice. She went through my documents, and asked two clarification questions. My photo seems too big, so she measured it with a ruler, cut it smaller, and accepted it. There is also an error on one of my documents, and she kindly asked me to email a correct version to her later. The whole process was very smooth and she was just very gentle and kind all the time. I was quite impressed.
First things First. I had a wonderful experience. Very helpful staff. The Frenchman that helped me is from God. That guy was great. I think we are at the end of high season but I got my visa in 4 days (as of august 21,2017) . Now, I did review some posts in the past about the Asian Lady, they said to avoid her. While I didn't directly work with her and therefore cannot provide a full review about her, I must say that She doesn't look like she wants to be there. She seems as though she wakes up every morning expecting the worst from life and her job. She seems lonely and bitter. I'm not trying to scare you. Anyways make sure you have ALL of your documents. If you think one of you documents should be photocopied then DO IT. its better to have more photo copies than necessary. God be with you.
We just finished a wonderful and delicious dinner. Chef came out to greet us and all patrons which speaks volumes as we expressed our gratitude for an amazing meal. Everything on the menu is classic and lovely. The food is well thought out. Awesome experience and great service. 4 stars. Good service!

Absolutely horrible. This place deserves 0 stars. The lack of customer service is appalling. Having been to French consulates all over the world, the Los Angeles branch is by far the worst. They would be smart to hire staff who actually portray knowledge and respect to its customers/patrons. Utterly deplorable and thankfully will never call upon their lack of service again.
