Anyway, if someone is really interested in Korean culture I think they would find a lot more enrichment through Korean Meet-up clubs and taking some Korean classes at the community college.
Absolutely my favorite Korean restaurant in CA. Feels like eating a love filled home cooked meal every time. Healthy, and delicious.
The Los Angeles Korean Cultural Center houses a tiny library, along side a small, seldom changing, museum display centered mainly on the now nonexistent Choson dynasty. The upper floors may sometimes play host to cultural arts displays and various meetings but this hardly qualifies the center as a "hotspot" for Korean culture in general. The center also is home to the King Sejong Institute that offers classes in Korean language, but the head of the institute has appeared rather terse on more than one occasion --I got the feeling that if I were a pretty young lady or perhaps dressed in an expensive suit the situation would have been different.
Paying $ 80, I expected to get more than I got in this Korean language class. Such courses like this should be free of charge especially when teacher is not a native speaker. It's a waste of time and money.
There's not much there --don't waste your time.
It's asome .:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
