I had never gone to an independent hardware store until I moved to the palisades. It us uncanny how often this store will have the obscure household item you need when you didn't even know such an item existed until it broke at precisely the worse time. Norris Hardware is a tremendous resource for the residents of the palisades. I hope it never leaves.
Usually you have to drive OUT of the good neighborhoods to find a big hardware store - but they snuck one in right here. And, it's a good one, too.
