Then, the day of the delivery comes...another disappointment. The crew showed up with 2 guys and started calling local companies looking for help to move items! They came totally unprepared. Luckily another guy came 2 hours later from a different moving company to help them for the day...and he was the only one prepared with runners to keep the floors from getting scratched. At the end of the move in I was going through boxes and looking for anything damaged (as very clearly instructed by the moving company) when the driver started getting angry at me and trying to get me to stop so he could leave. Incredibly rude, pacing around, following me through the apartment, saying things like "what, there is nothing wrong with that box, no need to open"....

The worst part of the experience was all of the shady undisclosed fees. They had me estimate how much space I would need (my estimate should have been way too high per the initial assistant on the phone), then when the movers arrived they told me I was going to be way under on my estimate. Any space required over the initial estimate is a HUGE up-charge, it easily doubled my final bill. It isn't until they get everything loaded that they told me there would be extra fees on the unloading for having to go more than 30 feet of carry, or in an elevator that isn't reserved for them.

Then, they were not straight forward on the time of delivery. I told them I needed my deliver on "x" date, they said "no problem" on my initial phone conversations. Then once I was loaded on the truck they said oh...well that date is an estimate and we actually have up to 3 weeks after that date to get your stuff delivered! Had I known that I would have paid extra from the start to get a guaranteed delivery date or gone with a different company, but that was NEVER disclosed. After 2 weeks of arguing I finally was able to get a senior manager on the phone who was helpful, gave me a small refund, and hastened my delivery (still 1.5 weeks after my requested date).

Now, here is the best part. They use a 3rd party for damage claims. 3 months later I finally have received the settlement letter for the damages (which yes there was some stuff broken - nothing major, but enough to make me file a claim). In order for me to receive my claim check, I have to sign a document stating "I understand and agree that if any reviews are posted or published anywhere following receipt of my settlement payment, all sums received will be forfeited and subject to immediate recovery in a court of law." --- SERIOUSLY! I'm forced to either get reimbursed for the stuff they broke or not write any (bad) review on them. What a joke.... Shocking that only good reviews are written....

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! DONT BE FOOLED BY THEIR FAKE REVIEWS WRITEN BY THEIR STAFF!! I would give no stars! Worst experience ever. First I was only quoted by square feet, Vicki didn't take ANY list of my belongings. Just square feet So when the movers showed up they didn't know what to take so they became rude as can be, cussing and smoking cigarettes in my house, with my young children present. then they called me names when I tried to explain to him what I was told from the Vicki who initially made the order. he called me a liar and they wouldn't take any of my s*** (as he called it). He said the company don't care about my belongings and will throw my c*** in the trash if I don't pay extra money to have it taken. I kept calling to speak with Vicki or someone about it and got hung up on many times. So Finally after being hung up on repeatedly the head mover (Hugo) made a new list and charged me $900 more, having no other choice I complied and left half of my household in Cali. After I got to my destination I called air 1 and spoke with some one and they took only $700 off of that $900 and didn't apologize for the movers, the order, the way they spoke to me or the misinformation Vicki told me and treated me like I was the problem. Those movers and this company were the worst! Then after getting my belongings half was missing and the other half was broken! My kitchen table and chairs, my dressers, my tv stand and dishes. The company won't pay for damages, I even paid extra on insurance! so DO NOT USE THEM! I've called so many times to see what can be done about damages and every time they mess me around and transfer me to 4 or 5 different people and all they can say is they don't understand my problem. So this company should really be shut down! I've already given a review on BBB

My best friend was moving into her new apartment that is closely located to the busy LA Live scene. I took some time off from work to help her pack & wrap some of her furniture, but we both quickly noticed that even this processes was taking too long. Hesitant on hiring a moving crew because of the little furniture & the cost, we decided to give Air 1 a try. Best decision we made ever made!! The company gave my friend a great deal & had all of her belongings in her new apartment, in as little as 5 hrs! I highly recommend this moving crew service (they saved us time & gas money!!) Ask for Jamie, he made the process of moving so easy & stress free!

Used the company to move over the summer from California to Texas. Overall pretty terrible experience. The company was very responsive initially, then once I put a deposit down, it suddenly became difficult to get them to answer my calls/emails. They would say the person was out of office on lunch break, I'd call back, then they were gone for the day. They'd promise me a call back then never call. The day of the move they were several hours late to pick up my items, and tried to postpone me to the next day. I had pre-paid to have them pack all of my items for me but because they were so late, I ended up packing a large portion of my apartment myself as I had to be out that night. To their credit, the crew that eventually showed up was very professional and kind. They packed things carefully and quickly.

I couldn't be happier with their services. When I called up Air1moving, they did such a good job wrapping everything and making sure that I was well taken care of for my move to my new home. If you're planning a move, I would definitely recommend this company.

I had a great experience with Air 1 Moving. I considered renting a truck and packing it myself and making the cross country move on my own, but decided to hire a company to make my life easier. Air 1 did a great job moving my furniture and household belongings and getting my furniture to my new home on time. Thanks Air 1 for making my life easier.

    I couldn't be happier with their services. When I called up Air1moving, they did such a good job wrapping everything and making sure that I was well taken care of for my move to my new home. If you're planning a move, I would definitely recommend this company.
