Professional, accommodating and hard-working. I have contracted Gentleman's Moving Company for two moves in the past year, one for my mom, and the other one for my son. On both occasions the young people doing the move were courteous and efficient. They worked practically non-stop, even in 100 degree weather. There were were no surprises on the final price, it was as the agreed upon cost estimate. I would definitely hire them again, and recommend them fully. If you are moving, call and ask for Tara, her suggestions can make your move as smooth as can be.
I used Gentleman's Moving Company out of Burbank, on my recent move and I would recommend to anyone! I have moved quite often in my years, and had a mover that always moved me but he recently retired and I have had some nightmare movers when he was not available to move me, so I have experience with this. Prices are very reasonable and no hidden fees at the end of the day!
Amazingly quick and professional service. I hired Gentlemen's Moving Company for a move and I was shocked at how quick they went. You can tell the movers are pros -- they know how to package and handle every type of furniture -- even the most irregular shapes. They wrapped all of the necessary furniture in plastic wrap to ensure it wouldn't be scratched. I was shocked at how fast they were loading stuff into the truck.
Tara, in the office was very nice, professional and efficient setting things up and then on the day of the move Aleks, Serge and Angri showed up. What a great team! They were so careful, efficient and kind. I am a single woman close to retirement age and every time I tried to lift a box they were like " No, let me get that please". They wasted no time and they wrapped all of the furniture so well, nothing was damaged and nicked in any way. They put all of the furniture where I wanted to place it and always asked "Are you sure?" They put my bed up and I wasn't happy with the placement and they said "No problem" and moved it again, with no complaints or funny looks or talk under their breath.
I intended to disassemble my bedframe beforehand, but didn't have enough time, so they offered to do it for me, and were super fast. You could tell they had assembled that IKEA frame before because they knew exactly what parts to take apart and which ones to leave alone. I assumed they would just leave the parts at my new place for me to assemble, but they assembled it as well -- and really quickly too -- which was above and beyond the service I was expecting.
This may seems like a small thing, but it really impressed me - when the guys were moving things into my new place, they would bring boxes up the stairs and put them exactly where I asked and when they went back through the rooms to get another load, I would see them pick up leaves or little things off the floor that had been brought in with the cart or boxes. WOW - what guy does that?
Pricing was very reasonable too -- $100/hr with two movers. Four hours for $400 was definitely worth it.
I think all this old reviews are friend and relatives. Don't buy any of it.

As they got in their truck to leave, it donned on me that these guys were not only GREAT movers but real GENTLEMEN as well!
We had to move on November 4th and I thought max should be 4 hours. Three big guys showed up and I got happy thinking it would take only 3 hours for a 900 SQF 2 bedroom apartment. They were just looking at each other and thinking who should take the heavier item. It took them 7 hours and half, My wife and my daughter including me helping them to make them move quicker but noting stop them to kill the time. They charged me $973.00 and broke the one of my sofa.
They were surprisingly friendly, too. Nothing was damaged in transit.
WOW! Chose Gentlemen's based on the online reviews and we couldn't be happier. Probably the best move experience my wife and I have ever had. Prompt, efficient, courteous, careful, and quick. Basically everything you could want in a mover. Everything was padded, wrapped or both. Everything was set up in the new location before they left. Let me add a few more stars, they were that good!
