Small concert/lecture venue & beautifully staged museum. If you're in LA be sure to visit! Great place to bring out of town guests. Lots of restaurants near by!
The Grammy Museum is not expensive at all. Extremely affordable! Very educational museum about the history of music and it's artist! Highly recommended!
Decent museum with plenty of interesting information. Only wish they had more. Maybe one more level? No staff to be found except at the front reception area. Very new and clean. Pleasant, but nothing overwhelmingly special. I'm sure it will get bigger and better.
Museum offers a nice overview of music history. I'd recommend checking it out if you haven't. They have special exhibits that rotate on a schedule so check out their website.
I really didn't know if I would enjoy this. I came here for the free museum day but I found that it would be worth general admission. Seeing iconic pieces of musical history from Ray Charles, Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash, Beyoncé, and Kris Kristofferson was so awesome. Whether you have bad feelings about a Michael Jackson or not, I feel that this was the best part of the museum. How could you not want to see the cost from Thriller or his iconic gloves. I really did love taking a trip through musical history in downtown LA!
