If you have the LA go pass you can either go here of the Chinese Theater. I preferred the theater tour.
The Hollywood Museum is a four level building that houses the personal affects of many past and present movie / television stars. It also has old movie props, Jean Harlow's 1920's car and many other displays. My favourite were the Marilyn Monroe exhibits...everything from her clothes, jewellery and personal affects to old movie memorabilia. $15 well spent.
Very disappointed. Feels like stuff collected from garage sales for some rare exceptions. The only interesting part might be the colored make-up rooms. They also have Pee-wee's bike, which is fun.
We LOVED it here! So many cool things to see in the historic Max Factor building. Multiple levels of Hollywood artifacts from the past right to the present. The folks at the front desk were very nice. I highly recommend it!
Only a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood Boulevard. Really worth a visit something for everyone in your group. Really admire how the building has been renovated back to how it is. Every make up artist should visit you will not be disappointed. Make up, glitter and gore! Apprentice Mel's Diner that is next door used to be part of the make up business and the basement a speak easy, back in the day. Thank you for saving the make up collection!
This is an amazing and so very exiting experience for all of those passionate about movies and golden era of Hollywood.Be prepared to walk a lot and spend hours in there to really appreciate everything and read through the info. There are places to sit and you can enjoy some movies showing on different tvs.
