Worst place ever. The staff in the Wellness Center spoke another language, were rude, played on their phones, ignored cries for help when I couldn’t get out of a chair, threw my wet laundry at me. Never, ever again
Worst experience imaginable: rude, lazy, stupid staff provided half-assed service for a dying friend. "How might things have turned out, if only he was treated at a real hospital?" We'll never know. PLEASE save yourself from from a lifetime of sorrow and regret: if your loved one is sick enough to go to a hospital, then that loved one needs a REAL hospital. DO NOT GO HERE.
As a former employee here and a manager of the public safety department, this hospital is a joke. Things that were critical for the safety of the patience was ignored, a special unit design to take care of patients whom are unable to take care of themselves was illegally open. A patient hung himself in the psychiatric unit. Prevention measures to keep patients from eloping and jumping after buildings was ignored. The previous director of facilities Failed to disclose the security risk assessment to The Joint Commission when they came by to conduct their inspection. Use this hospital at your own risk. there's nothing really safe about this place but the staff is very nice. I would in the resigning after the human resource director Failed to address my concern that the facilities director was not Adressing the safety concerns and answering honestly the questions The Joint Commission had posed
The doctor that saw me was horribly disrespectful, and refused to treat my tooth infection with antibiotics. After being rude and dismissive, he sent me home with painkillers. When my infection flared up later in the middle of the night, I was more pain than i'd ever been in my life. I was vomiting and couldn't move my neck. when i got to the ER the same doctor berated me for being too poor to treat my tooth, and almost refused me treatment. awful, degrading experience
This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any medical facility. Do not come here unless you are really in a pinch, even then, if you are in a real medical emergency try your best to go elsewhere. The nurse (while nice) kept me waiting for about 8 hours to get my test results back, only to find out they were ready approximately 7.5 hours earlier, and were un-reachable due to a "email glitch". Mind you, I needed to walk up and ask them for the results multiple times when finally the gentlemen "checked" and then "received the email". Furthermore they murdered my insurance for a lot of money. I received my explanation of benefits a month later and saw that the hospital had processed a series of fraudulent transactions - there was a lengthy summary of treatments and charges listed totaling over $10K at list value. All I actually received was the single scan and an IV drip. Terrible experience and really shady overall. I also forgot to mention that my only medical issue was moderate dehydration... the nurse tried to "up-sell" me to get a spinal tap.
