2. My mother had thyriodectomy surgery. Last night she experienced chills and her whole right side of her body was numb. she was panicking and when we called the nurse it took her 25 minutes to come to her room when we said it was an emergency. We had to call them 4 times to get someone up to her floor to help her. The nurses were very slow and did not take the situation as if it was urgent. She had an anxiety attack the whole 30 minutes waiting for a doctor. Her blood pressure was 210.
Miserable place to have a surgery. Rude rude recovery nurses, procedure scheduled for 1:00 not done till 5 pm! This is not a place to go! People there are non-caring ,nurses are nasty.
Today I went to the ER and there was an Asian nurse and an Armenian secretary taking in the patients. Well the Armenian woman gave preference to an Armenian couple even though the line to be resgistered was like 6 people she (Armenian secretary) let the couple be resgistered FIRST! I thought the line was for first come first served, but I was wrong if your Armenian you can cut the line and the wait! Unbelievable and ridiculous maybe I need to start learning Armenian so that I can cut lines and I don't have to wait like others SMFH! Now the Asian nurse was an ass to a guy that asked when was his friend gonna be seen, the nurse was so rude and told him if you don't like it BYE,BYE,OK BYE! So rude I can't stand being discriminated just because I am Mexican and not Armenian and all the people waiting in line were Latinos/Hispanics and is not ok to have privileges just cuz you are from another race! SMFH!
5. Any needs that she had including filling up her medication, took 20 minutes also. Other times they did not answer their phone when we called.
1. They were suppose to check on my mom every hour because her blood pressure was high because she was anxious and they came in, in 3 hours. The first nurse barely checked on my mom and when we called her another nurse came in.
Don't go to the e. R. ,they are idiots. Told a 64 year old man with chest pain to get in line.
I'm very dissapointed with this hospital, they're very slow, I would not recommend it...My wife was in the emergency room a couple day ago, she got into the room around 9:00 am, I got to the hospital around 11:30am she's crying and suffering for the back pain and they haven't give anything for it, until I step forward and I had to ask to the stuff to give my wife something for the pain, they told me that they're wating for the doctor, at the moment only two doctors were there and like 20 people in the room injured, until then, they give a shot to my wife and like 2 more hour later that I have to ask again they gave her a pain killer, we got out from there around 3:00 pm my wife spen more than 6 hours just to get a shot, a pill for the pain and a presciption, while the stuff were taking selfies between co-worker, so frustrater.
3. The doctor that came to help gave her medication but did not have any knowledge on what was causing the symptoms. I found out she had hypocalcemia.
I commend the services of all staff who attended to us in maternity department . Shout out to Cheryl for an excellent service and all the nurses and working staff assigned to my friend in room 301. Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable. I also commend the nurses who took care of my grandson in NICU! Great job! More power to you! Keep up your being a baby friendly hospital !
This hospital is horrible.
4. The nurses are unorganzied and almost gave her the wrong IV. Luckily, it was not medication, just an IV.
