Please beware of this car dealership they are scam ....., Hi , my name is Faith and am a single mum who moved to texas . I contacted car search USA : 6025 laurel canyon blvd , north Hollywood ca 91606 on 7/28/2017 . The sales representative was called Danny . We looked at the car , I told them I have never gotten a car before and hope the car was in good shape . I paid $500 via debit as deposit to return the next day . After speaking to a friend I was told paying $8200 for a used Dodge Charger 2010 with 123,789 mileage was outrageous. I called the sales representative and he said 10am pick up time we were going to talk .
On Friday on my way back from a concert my car stopped on the highway I paid $100 to tow my car to mine since it was the laborday weekend .
Great car, Great Service, Honest People but they could use more salesmen. You might have to wait a few minutes before they can help you.
DO NOT GO HERE TO BUY A CAR!!! Every bad experience you can expect will happen at this sorry excuse for a car lot. I fought to have a salesman call me for 2 days, there was no accountability. I was flying from New Mexico to Los Angeles to buy a car (a big expense). The car was described to be in good shape and it was trashed. They purposely didn't show all that was wrong and this car was severely over priced. After flying in and wasting over $1,000 to get there a buy the car I was told sorry about the miscommunication. BEWARE!! DO NOT GO HERE TO BUY A CAR
Go in knowing your facts. I bought my dream car here a few years back...the finance guy, David, was able to work it out for me. In hindsight I could have negotiated a lower Price. I put down 6k yet the loan David and the manager at the time worked out for me was still high. The deal I got was good at the time but if I could go back in time I would have been firm with a lower price.
I got a call from Dan 10am to move my pick up time to 3pm when I asked why he said " to service the car and have it inspected " I was excited I was getting a great car with a honorable business man . 3pm I told him my conscience, and asked to back out he said my $500 was non refundable and offered a 3months warranty coverage ( Alpha warranty service contract number ZM00310814) for my engine . A week later my car started having funny noises from the engine I drove it to car search Usa and they it was ok when they sold it I cried with my son and left .
So today , Tuesday 5th September 2017 I towed the car to Russell Westbrook dodge van nuys ($69) They called the the warranty company need a new engine $8000 the warranty company said they want the dealership to find out the problem with the engine the dealership is charging $1500 to open the engine and put it back . The warranty car search Usa covers just $1500 .
If you want to purchase a reliable car from here forget about it. The one I purchased broke down soon after and I had to tow it home and repair it myself. No one should have to put extra money out of their one pocket to fix a recently purchased car.
Took the car to a local mechanic for servicing and was told my timing belt was bad , and I was sold the car with a broken .
