I'm also deducting one star for the cut and pasted responses to these problems and customer concerns. That, Karplus, is NOT customer service in any way, shape or form. I do that job for a living and I'd be fired for using Saved Responses to unhappy customers in this way. Curious that many of their responses to some of the one-stars state: 'we log visits and have no record of you; will take legal action against fraudulent reviews...etc'. We drove in, without appointment, spent 30 mins with a very patient salesman, but were in no way 'logged' and were never asked for our email or names.
But, having read all those 1 star reviews I'm definitely convinced the salesman unknowingly did us a huge favor and we dodged a bullet here.
Glad I avoided buying from here. I'm sure that some of the cars are decent enough, but the reviews about many not being honestly listed through Carfax as being salvage and having frame damage are, frankly, terrifying. When you're spending upwards of 8k you do not have to enter a lottery. There are great and honest dealers out there, I'm certain.
What was very interesting is that having watched the amazing Chrisfix Youtube guides on buying used cars (guys, WATCH THOSE VIDEOS -they will show you how to spot a dud -and are great fun to watch too), I briefly inspected the frame of one vehicle and the salesman quickly lost interest in us. Could've been the heat and the fact he'd admittedly spent a fair amount of time with us, but the lot was very quiet that day and sorry, you had two potential customers!
Alex, Lon, Hamid, Allen and Robert all did a great job from helping me select my low miles vehicle all the way to driving it home. The environment there is no-pressure and amicable. They have a lot of vehicles to chose from, so I was expecting it to be a bit of a headache, but it couldn't have been more of a breeze. Very accommodating, genuine people. I cannot recommend KarsPlus as a dealer. They epitomize the classic used car dealership in every sense - high prices, no negotiation, a 'take or get lost' attitude and they will take everything you have give nothing. Fortunately, I didn't buy a car from them, a blonde I know did. Stay away, there are much better places to shop.
